On 9 and 10 October at the Polisportivo battle between 22 teams. Pro loco Castionese takes care of food and drink

Maurizio Fontanelle, president of the organizing reality Pro Loco Pieve Castionese, thus opened the press conference on the 24 hours of San Martino. Edition no. 47 re-embraces Belluno after a year of forced stop. He will do so as always at the Polisportivo stadium, on the weekend of 9 and 10 October. 22 teams registered, in an appointment that does not change from the point of view of the formula but must necessarily adapt to the Covid protocols. In fact, the teams’ stands will not be in operation, one of the driving elements of the 24 hours, with the administration of food and drinks that will be exclusively managed by the Pro Loco Castionese. The stadium will only be accessed with a green pass or negative buffer.
22 TEAMS
There will be 22 partnerships at the start. Two more than the minimum number of twenty assumed when the program meeting took place in July. Present Pro Loco Pieve Castionese, Anr Alpago Tornado run, Section Alpini Belluno, Quei da Boldan, Liceo Lollino classic and scientific, Together you can Onlus, La Colfranculana, Gs Quantin – Alpenplus – Bar da Elda, Gs Astra Quero, Cral Farrese, Gs Caleipo, Alan’s Friends, San Martino bar, Together with Assi, Gs Castionese, Comité Pollicino, Idrogas Ponte nelle Alpi, Atletica Montegrappa, Spiritolimpico, Canottieri Belluno 5-a-side football, Sporty Belluno, Sersa – Mi te ó already vist. In total, just under 600 athletes are expected on the track of the Polisportivo, who will run according to the traditional formula of one hour fractions starting at 3 pm on Saturday, and up to 3 pm on Sunday. The fastest team will win the Sinteco Trophy. The youth relays will follow, with the De Bona Trophy up for grabs. Then confirm the other awards always at team level, individuals, categories and so on. «The sponsors are fundamental», underlined Michele Pellegrini, vice president of the Pieve Castionese, while the other vice president, Alessio De Min, highlights «the great commitment of the volunteers, even more important considering the rules to follow. In addition, the retired policemen will help in enforcing Covid regulations ».
