Maurizio Fontanelle, president of the organizing reality Pro Loco Pieve Castionese, thus opened the press conference on the 24 hours of San Martino. In fact, the teams’ stands will not be in operation, one of the driving elements of the 24 hours, with the administration of food and drinks that will be exclusively managed by the Pro Loco Castionese. The stadium will only be accessed with a green pass or negative buffer.

22 TEAMS

There will be 22 partnerships at the start. Two more than the minimum number of twenty assumed when the program meeting took place in July. Then confirm the other awards always at team level, individuals, categories and so on. «The sponsors are fundamental», underlined Michele Pellegrini, vice president of the Pieve Castionese, while the other vice president, Alessio De Min, highlights «the great commitment of the volunteers, even more important considering the rules to follow. In addition, the retired policemen will help in enforcing Covid regulations ».
