SALICE TERME
Countdown to the Rally 4 Regioni 2021. After a year’s break, the super classic of Oltrepò motorsport is back, ready to give further prestige to the territory. A special edition, this year, because it marks the 50th anniversary of the race, born in 1971 on the initiative of a group of Aci Pavia fans, led by Benedetto Pelliccioni and Siropietro Quaroni. Precisely in the early years the 4 Regioni experienced its golden age, with the historic inclusion in the 1976 World Rally calendar, even as a reserve.
The 2021 edition confirms the 2019 approach, with the support of races for historic cars, rallies and sport regularity, of the race open to modern cars. The organization was entrusted to the “Milano Rally Show” group: the direct participation of Aci Pavia, AciI Milano and the Lombardy Region should also be emphasized. A total of 146 crews have signed up: 38 registered in the historic 50th 4 Regions, 83 in the 4 Regions for modern cars and 25 in the 50th Regularity Sport. All the main drivers from Pavia were present: from Giacomo Scattolon to Davide Nicelli, from Matteo Musti to Riccardo Canzian, as well as national specialists such as Gabriele “Odeon” Noberasco, Luigi “Lucky” Battistolli, Salvatore “Totò” Riolo and Claudio Covini.
