Bairo’s seventeen-year-old Edoardo Zingarelli is now firmly in the under 18 national team. Zingarelli, a member of the Red Clay club from Castellamonte, has had two calls for the under 18 national team, led by Francesco Aluffi. First he was summoned for a rally in Tuscany in Grosseto, then on June 16 in Verona.
The Italian national team under 18 will be involved from 5 to 11 July at the European category championships that will take place in Italy, between Macerata and Montegranaro.The staff of the Italian national baseball team under 18 in addition to the manager Aluffi is composed of: Stefano Cappuccini coach), John Cortese (bench coach), Massimiliano Masin (pitching coach), Davide Sartini (infield coach), Fabrizio Goracci (athletic trainer) and Aldo Peronaci (team manager). The Italian team that will still support a collegiate training session today Wednesday 23 June. The current squad is 25, but will be reduced to 20 for the European Championships. –
