Cappelletti, the championship restarts. Are you ready to take a position in the control room?

«Yes, I am ready, as are my companions. We want to pick up where we left off. Before the break we won four games in a row with a wide gap and a solid defense, now our trademark ».

He tested positive at Covid, but all in all he was lucky: he didn’t miss a single match.

“True, it went well with me. Unfortunately we are going through a difficult period, we hope to be able to defeat this beast as soon as possible. We have vaccines, an important weapon. As for us players, we are confident that we will resume doing our job in the best possible way, playing in front of as numerous an audience as possible. In Udine there is great heat, the fans help us a lot: I remember the match against Pistoia, their drive was fundamental ».

Can you tell us about your personal experience with the virus?

«For me it was the second infection, the first dates back to January 2021, when I was playing in Turin. The difference, however, was substantial. A year ago I was sick for three days and I had after-effects, this seemed like a simple flu. Now I’m fine and I’m ready to make an important contribution right away ».

Coach Boniciolli, your leader, has also recovered from Covid.

«We are all very happy, he is a guide for us. It was important to reform the group, we spend a lot of time together and we get on well. There is a right alchemy, the results of the field are the faithful mirror. We are ready to welcome the coach back and resume the journey together ».

What Apu will we see when the tournament resumes?

«We want to start where we left off, before the break we had achieved a remarkable team strength. Surely staying three weeks without playing doesn’t help, but if we do our thing we know where we can go ».

Face Orzinuovi, last in the standings but combative and renewed in the roster.

«He has just changed a foreigner, he will want to do well. At the beginning of the season it was a play-off team: I remember the Super Cup match at their home, it was a battle. We will have to be good at turning off their motivations and following our match plan. We do not want to lose contact with the top, on Sunday there is also the direct clash Treviglio-Cantù ».

«The thing that makes me feel good and gives me energy is knowing that with me there are eleven other players ready to give everything. We have to work as we have done so far and cross our fingers, because a little luck never hurts ».
