The 2021 season of Belluno parachuting restarts from the Dolomiti Cup and from the triumph of the Carabinieri. Saturday and yesterday at the Arturo Dell’Oro airport, the traditional spring appointment of the precision landing organized by Paracadutismo Belluno took place. An event that, traditionally, constitutes one of the moments of preparation for the international events that matter most and that brings several foreign athletes to the capital.
Even in the weekend that just passed, there were several nations present: in addition to the Italians, athletes from Qatar, Germany, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Holland, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia competed against each other. To win, the Carabinieri team who won at Pd Factory Scuola Nazionale, a formation that also included Daniele Viel from Belluno, in the last of the 8 series of launches. The team from Qatar completes the podium.
On an individual level there was an ex aequo: on the top step Vittorio Guarinelli (Pd Factory – National School – Italy) and Davide Girelli (Carabinieri – Italy).

Instead, once the quarantine was removed in recent days, many have arrived and this of course is an excellent result for us »comments Corrado Marchet, coordinator of the organization. «We managed to get the better of the extreme variability of the weather, doing six heats on Saturday and two on Sunday: also for this reason the balance we are drawing is positive. Once the Dolomiti Cup has been filed, we will focus on the City of Belluno Trophy, which will also be valid this year for the World Series and which will take place from 30 July to 1 August. It will be a particularly important appointment because the following week, the World Cup will be held in Russia ».
