In fact, on Friday, 11 June, the Giro d’Italia Enel Under 23 will arrive in the Belluno area, an event which for the category represents one of the reference events at an international level. It will do so with the queen stage, the penultimate fraction that will bring the promises of two-wheelers from Cavalese to Nevegal: 161.7 kilometers of development and 3,100 meters of altitude spread over four mountain grand prix: departure from Cavalese towards Predazzo, then ascent to the Valles pass (first category), descent on Falcade and Agordo, then towards Belluno (you will pass through Piazza Martiri), Ponte nelle Alpi, Val Cantuna (third category), Alpago and Giro del Lago, ascent to Nevegal (first category) touching Vich, Losego and Quantin, descent on Castion, return to Nevegal (always passing through Losego and Quantin) where the finish line will be placed at Pian Longhi. Departure will be at 10.50 am while arrival is expected between 3.40 pm and 4.15 pm.

The headquarters will be the Pian Longhi – Sport, Food & Wellness center which during the day, awaiting the arrival of the race, will offer spinning sessions in collaboration with Miros and then a pink evening with dinner and music by Gigi dj.

On Nevegal it will be known who will win the Giro and will succeed in the roll of honor to athletes who are now protagonists in professional cycling such as Pavel Sivakov (first in 2017), Aleksandr Vlasov (winner in 2018), Joao Almeida (second in 2018) and Thomas Pidcock (first in 2020). Waiting for the two from Belluno in the race, Andrea Pietrobon and Daniel Cassol. Pietrobon was out of the ranking already at the second stage and from today (Fanano – Sestola, Appennino Modenese) will aim at the individual stages while Cassol, in the first year of Under 23 and in the first stage race in his life, works at the service of the most experienced teammates.
