SANLURI. TV programs, books, special interviews, plays. Everything and more has been done on the Gigi Riva phenomenon. Now comes the hymn to the rossoblù champion who changed the history of Cagliari and Italian football. The castle of Sanluri, a symbolic place of Sardinian pride, will host the event scheduled for this afternoon starting at 5.30 pm in which the manuscript in notes, dedicated to the Champion, will be presented: “Pride Rossoblù, Hymn to Cagliari dedicated to the champion Gigi Riva , more Sardinian than me ”, written by the master Simone Pittau.

The hymn with words in verse, signed by the sports and historical journalist of Cagliari, Vittorio Sanna, and performed in collaboration with the Chamber Orchestra of Sardinia directed by its founder, Simone Pittau, will be presented to the public by the two soloists who they interpreted: the soprano Elena Schirru and the tenor Mauro Secci.

There will be many testimonies of affection for Gigi Riva, starting with that of the children, Mauro and Nicola Riva, the professor Francesco Cesare Casula, the journalist Vittorio Sanna and the director of the Rossoblù Museum Simone Gallus, the soprano Elena Schirru and the tenor Mauro Secci who gave lyrical voice to the anthem, and singer Beppe Dettori who gave voice to the pop version of the anthem.

During the Sanluris evening it will also be possible to visit an exhibition of historical Cagliari shirts thanks to the precious collaboration with the Rossoblù Museum in Quartu by Simone Gallus. (enrico gaviano)
