The Israeli swimmer wins silver at the Doha world championships: boos from the public at the awards ceremony

Swimmer Anastasia Gorbenko won her first medal at the World Swimming Championships in Qatar – a silver in the 400 medley, specifically -, but at the moment of the award ceremony the athlete was booed by the Doha public. «I’m here to do what I love, what I do best – she says, spreading her arms -, I have permission to compete with the flag of my country, I represent Israel in these difficult times and I’m proud of it. If someone doesn’t like it, it’s not my problem.”
