The club born from the merger between Broni and Varzi concludes a pact on the nursery with Piacenza

THE CHALLENGE

Youth sector, the new Oltrepo Fbc is looking for young talents. And to succeed, three open days have been organized: 9-11 and 13 July, at the Liros sports center in Broni (Piave district, 104 – info 329.1957846 and 331.4255189). Saturday 9 July (10 am) those born between 2014 and 2017 are “invited” to participate; Monday 11 July (6 pm) those from 2012 to 2013; finally, Wednesday 13 July (6 pm) it will be the turn of the 2010-2011 vintages. The open days are in collaboration with the Academy Piacenza Calcio 1919 training center, thanks to the new technical-sporting collaboration, born some time with the noble red and white club that plays in Serie C and that follows the future talents of the Oltrepadano area with great interest. Academy to which they already belong: Gs Azzurra; Polisportiva Podenzano 1945; Sarmatese; Polisportiva Corsico; Cadeo Calcio, Codogno 1908.

It is the first step on the youth front by the Oltrepo Fbc company, born from the merger between Varzi 1916 and Broni, which then defined in view of the new 2022/2023 sports season, also the organization chart of the youth sector, which was born under the technical direction of Filippo Catenacci, former professional player, former captain and Varzi player, who since last season has also embodied the role of technical director of the first team (Varzi 1916, today Oltrepo Fbc). Alongside Catenacci, there are also the sports director of the competitive activity, Alessandro Civardi, the sports director of the base and football school activity, Alessandro Grandi, and the coordinator Stefano Belcredi.
