The Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee has released the ninth edition of the competition schedule for the Beijing Winter Olympics. According to the competition schedule, the first gold medal of the Beijing Winter Olympics will be produced at the National Cross-Country Ski Center of Zhangjiakou Division at 16:30 on February 5, 2022. The Winter Olympics is the world‘s largest comprehensive winter sports event with the widest impact and the highest competitive level. The Beijing Winter Olympics is the 24th Winter Olympics and will be held from February 4 to February 20, 2022. There are 7 major events, 15 sub-events, and 109 minor events. All competitions will be held in 3 competition areas in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou, with 12 competition venues, 3 training venues and 28 non-competition venues. Among them, the Beijing competition area includes 6 competition venues including the National Speed Skating Stadium and the Shougang Ski Jump, which will produce 37 Winter Olympic gold medals; the Yanqing competition area includes 2 competition venues, the National Alpine Ski Center and the National Snowmobile Center, and 21 competition venues.
