Africa sport, overcoming the Tempocasa Rivarolo 6-5 after the penalty kicks, won the twelve hours of five-a-side football in Favria (memorial Domenico Costanzo and Fulvio Doglio).
The event saw the participation of twelve teams who fought on the Favria field inside the Bonaudo park. The organization by the Costanzo and Doglio dal Favria Kickers families, in collaboration with Uisp Ivrea & Canavese.
The final was decided on penalties. The match ended on a score of 2-2, thanks to goals from Herrera and Khaamond for Africa and Montuori’s brace for Tempocasa. From the spot the winners scored four goals, the losers only three. In third place the Bar il Ritrovo who won the small final 3-2 against the Glc. In the semifinals successes for Temposaca Rivarolo who prevailed 4-0 on Bar Ritrovo, and for Africa sport, which had defeated Clg 5-4 after penalties.
At the end of the final, the awards ceremony was held in the presence of the relatives of Domenico Costanzo and Fulvio Doglio, in addition to the teams, some players who showed off during the tournament were awarded. Best player was Gilberto Herrera (Africa sport), goalkeeper: Andrea Brescianini (Bar il Ritrovo) and top scorer Edoardo Montuori (Tempocasa Rivarolo).
Eliminatory rounds. In the one called Bar Ritrovo, Tempocasa Rivarolo came first with 9 points. He preceded the Raja Canavese with 6, eliminated the Et colors and the heavy Horses. In the Favria Kickers group first was Ajajak Brazorf with 7 points, preceded Africa sport with 6, third Atletico Pippao with 4 (best third), eliminated Rivalta. In the other group the Glc arrived first with 9 points, according to the Bar Ritrovo with 6, third the Super sports with 3 (among the best third), eliminated the Africa Canavese. Quarterfinals: Tempocasa-Super sport 3-1; Bar il Ritrovo-Ajajak 3-0; Africa sport-Raja Canavese 3-2; Clg-Atletico Pippao 1-0.
