The “real” tackles are back in Feltre: a mini-tournament but without rankings

FELT

The Rugby Feltre youth teams are back on the pitch. The grenade company adheres to the activity on a voluntary basis, obviously observing all the necessary precautions. As we know, the federation had given this possibility to the various clubs without giving life, at the same time, to real competitions with rankings. After the long stop due to Covid, the young grenades will be able to return to savor the atmosphere of the matches. Male and female U18, U16 and U14 are involved in this initiative.

It is not excluded that the federation will subsequently propose other events. Alessandro Gerardi, technical manager of the company, explains the organization of this new formula: “Let’s say that they are not championships, but rather a series of experimental shooting matches that will be held in June, organized by the federation, without championships and rankings, even if they will be real encounters. We are the only company from Belluno that has joined this proposal ».

Gerardi continues by saying: «It is certainly a fair conclusion to the efforts made in recent months, because all our teams have trained and therefore it is right to reward them with this type of event. It is the best solution to give continuity to the work. In June we play and then it is our intention to continue the activity throughout the summer to be ready in September ». The coach concludes by talking about the current situation of the Feltre club: «We are intensifying training and continue to swab the athletes once a week. The first team is training without any anticipation of playing this type of matches and will probably have a break in the summer to then resume preparation for next season ». –
