In the special dialogue session, Liu Xinping, director of the Sustainability Division of the General Planning Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, gave an overall introduction to the Beijing Winter Olympics’ overall sustainability plan, its implementation, and the impact of the Winter Olympics’ sustainability. Li Xinggang, chief designer of the Yanqing Division of the Winter Olympics, Zheng Fang, chief designer of Ice Ribbon of the National Speed Skating Stadium and Ice Cube of the National Swimming Center, Zhang Li, chief planner of the Zhangjiakou Division of the Winter Olympics, and chief designer of the Shougang Ski Jumping Platform, respectively introduced The sustainable design concept of the new and renovated venues of this Winter Olympics is in harmony with nature, sharing stories of how to draw on traditional wisdom and use low-carbon innovative technologies to improve resource and energy efficiency, mountain ecosystem restoration and biodiversity conservation .
