In the same year, he also won the team runner-up of the Women’s Epee World Championship. Since then, Sun Yiwen has repeatedly appeared in the international arena and successively won the second place in the women’s epee team at the 2013 Budapest Fencing World Championships, the women’s epee team champion in the women’s epee tournament in the 2014 FIE World Cup, and the women’s epee individual champion in the 2015 Women’s Epee World Cup.
