The athletics debut day at Tokyo 2020 Olympics gives toItaly confirmations and surprises: confirmations, such as access to the final of Gianmarco Tamberi in the high jump (out instead Stefano Sottile) and surprises, such as the qualification of Anna Bongiorni in the semifinal of the 100 meters. Surprisingly, he finds access to the semifinal in the 100 meters Anna Bongiorni thanks to an excellent 11”35, while the same mission in the other battery fails to Vittoria Fontana (11”53).

Victory Panizzon its Super cillious closes in 16th place the first dressage session of the individual and team competition (where theItaly is currently 13th): for her a penalty of 38.60.
The races to follow
The blue day continues at 7:00, with Giovanni De Gennaro engaged in kayaking. At 9:00 on the beach volleyball court there will be Paolo Nicolai e Daniele Lupo, while at 10:30 the riding competition will continue. In the Italian morning there will be room only for the consolation competitions, valid for placements, for the team sword boys, while at 12:00 there is to dream big with Yeman Crippa, engaged in the final of 10000 meters.
