Italian double in the 100 swimming dolphins at the Tokyo Paralympics. Carlotta Gilli (category S13) won gold, the first of the blue expedition to these Games, preceding Alessia Berra (category S12), who is silver.

Gilli has approached her world record, signing the Paralympic one instead: she is gold with 1’02 ″ 65, an absolute domination. Berra, on the other hand, closed with 1’05 ″ 67 recovering in the final, anticipating the Russian Pikalova by less than 20 cents, bronze with 1’05 ″ 86.

Monica Boggioni is bronze, however, in the women’s 200 freestyle with a great comeback in the last pool.
