CASTELLAMONTE
The award ceremony for the under 15 team of Red Clay for the brilliant result of the third place obtained in the autumn of 2020 in the national final phase of the championship will take place tomorrow, Saturday 20 November, at 3 pm in the town hall of Castellamonte.
The award ceremony, strongly desired by the mayor Pasquale Mazza and the councilor for sport Claudio Bethaz, should have already taken place as soon as the important result has been achieved, but the health measures for the containment of the pandemic from Covid-19 have made it postpone.
The final phase of the championship had taken place in Reggio Emilia and for the boys of the manager Vittorio Besso and Silvia Biasio the pairing of the semifinal was not very lucky. The Red Clay had in fact faced the strong Lion baseball Neptune, losing 8-2. The Lazio players had then graduated as category champions of Italy. –
