RIVAROLO CANAVESE
There is also concern in Serie D for the resumption of the various volleyball championships on Saturday 22 January. At Rivacastel volleyball the most important situation concerns the gym, as stated by the sports director Massimo Brunelli: “In the current state of things we cannot train because we did not have the ok to be able to train in the gymnasium of the Castellamonte schools, while for as far as the Rivarolo gym is concerned, we must share it with the Serie C training, with basketball and karate. In addition, a very important aspect, in this period we do not have a sufficient number to be able to train, since unfortunately we have had some players who have been in contact with positives and cannot come to the gym to train. With regard to the resumption of activity, I strongly doubt it will be possible to resume on Saturday 22, because the situation that lies ahead is not edifying ».
Pessimism also in the words of Graziano Ferrò, Montanaro sports director: “We train as if we had to play regularly on Saturday 22 January, doing three training sessions a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, always in our gym in Montanaro but the feeling is that we can concretely resume in February – says Ferrò – given that currently the pandemic situation is worrying and above all the risk of contagion is very high ». Training in the gym at Falconieri di San Giorgio but no friendly test for Calton, as coach Flavio Peroglio explains: “We train twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday, but without doing joint training with other teams also because it would be a contradiction: not we can play league matches, so it’s right not to play friendlies either. Our hope is that on Saturday 22 January we can return to play, but in the current state of things I see this possibility far away ». –
