Trentin still beats time and wins the 50 km on the road

New tricolor enterprise for Virginio Trentin. The master under Atletica San Biagio has in fact won the Italian championship of 50 km on the road, category M65, recently disputed in Borgo di Vigoleno, in the province of Parma. Trentin conquered the title of Italian champion with a test of 3h37’50 ”, which allowed him, among other things, to occupy the twenty-first position in the general classification. The umpteenth success of the infinite career of this 67-year-old physics professor, who also boasts the title of world marathon champion (among the M60) in 2015 in Lyon, just to mention one of the most precious laurels. In this 2021, the tricolor victory at the end of September in Arezzo in the Italian half marathon championship is added to the title won in Emilia Romagna. –
