Six years of work, seasoned with enthusiasm and passion, which have allowed Salicevallestaffora to become a solid and efficient reality of football beyond the Po Valley in the care of the youth sector. Ennio Tundis was the soul and the engine of the Salicese club and after six years of satisfaction he takes his leave of the club, to take on a new role as technical manager of the FIGC in the Territorial Development area of ​​Pavia. “Six years have been lived with great intensity in this family. When I arrived, there was a basic football center in Salice, with 76 members. The goal, from the very beginning, was to put the fun of children, teenagers and families at the center of the project. Then came the pandemic, which disrupted our lives, but did not change the guidelines of our project, ”explains Tundis. The picture today is very satisfactory, even in terms of numbers.

In Salice, there are in fact 155 members, three groups in the competitive sector and the basic activity has received two elite football school awards. «A dutiful thanks goes to all our members and their families and to the Under 15 group, which I coached in this sporting season. I will always be grateful to all managers, from president De Maron, to all managers, coaches and educators, without forgetting those who have worked for the club. I was lucky enough to always have many special people by my side during my business. Each one made me grow, as a technician and as a man ». For the post-Tundis period, Salicevallestaffora relies on Giulia Zecchino and Alessandro Zanolla, new technical managers of the spa company: “I am sure that with their skills, their passion and their enthusiasm they will continue to grow the project to always achieve new goals “.

For Tundis, a new opportunity is now opening in the federal sphere: “Thanks to the national program” Evolution Program “, children and boys, but also girls, aged 6 to 14 will be involved in the center of the field, together with the technicians, managers and family members, to make their contribution to the evolution of youth football in our territory with FIGC Lombardia. I will be the technical manager of the FIGC for the Pavia area, a position that makes me responsible and makes me very proud ».
