Two prizes at the Rally della Lana in memory of Ettore Amione

The prizes were awarded to the best-ranked Canavese crew in the historic rally valid for the Italian championship and to the first crew classified in the 2-1600 of the third Group, the class in which Ettore Amione raced with his beloved Volkswagen Golf GTI Group 2

IVREA. Two awards in memory of Ettore Amione at the historic Rally della Lana. Amione is a figure that is so lacking in the world of historical racing and rallies. Amione died last December, at just 63 years old. Originally from Vische, he lived in Banchette. In the area he was well known: he loved rallies and historic cars.

Thus his family (son Flavio, sisters Bruna and Gabriella, mother Giustina) obtained the collaboration of Veglio 4×4, BMT Eventi and Aci Biella and offered two special prizes in his memory. Alessandro Meneghetti, Germano Cretier and Paolo Baro also contributed to the realization of the Amione memorial and Ettore’s family is grateful to all of them.

The award was born taking inspiration from Ettore Amione’s passion for rallies, from his Canavese that he loved so much and from his car that he used until the last rally held last autumn. The prizes were awarded to the best-ranked Canavese crew in the historic rally valid for the Italian championship and to the first crew classified in the 2-1600 of the third Group, the class in which Ettore Amione raced with his beloved Volkswagen Golf GTI Group 2. Ad the driver Daniele Ferron from Ivrea with the navigator Francesco Cuaz, on board an Opel Kadett GT / e, won the prize for the best placement of a Canavese crew. While the prize for the first crew classified in the class in which Amione raced went to the pilot Luca Delle Coste in the car together with the navigator Franca Regis Milano, who raced on a Fiat Ritmo 75. –
