Pozzo must pay 7 million to Spal by 30 June; the defender, which Mourinho likes, can be sold to Roma

The combination of the ’96 class defender with the Lupa is not a novelty in an absolute sense, given that advances were also recorded at the end of April, when it was the player himself who considered himself “flattered”, in response to the “theme” question formulated from the Gazzetta dello Sport, while the market hub that could decide the future of Bonifazi at Udinese in these days is certainly topical.
And here we need to update the latest ones, which on the one hand lead to a contact just had between the director Pierpaolo Marino and Michelangelo Minieri, the defender’s attorney, and on the other to the actual intentions of the parties who practically played with their cards exposed. Thus, on the one hand Minieri told Udinese that Roma would be very welcome for his client, and Udinese replied with an “ok” which, however, must necessarily pass from the resolution of the player’s contractual situation.
Yes, because it should be remembered that Bonifazi arrived at Udinese with the loan formula with a redemption right from Spal already set at 7 million euros. By paying the sum into Spal’s coffers, with which Bonifazi has a contract until 30 June 2024, Udinese would guarantee the ownership of a defender that Spal had paid a good 15 million from Turin two years ago. To arrive at this solution there is time until June 30, and also considering the interest of Rome, it would be really sensational not to close the deal to take the player home, albeit also with the intention of selling him to achieve a ‘immediate and profitable capital gain, as Gino Pozzo seems willing to do in the face of the interest of Rome.
At that point, the 7 million paid for the acquisition of the Spal card would be immediately resumed with the prospect of collecting a figure obviously higher than what was spent. Not to mention the speech relating to the engagement, which for the season just ended was paid halfway between Udinese and Spal, the Ferrara club that contributed to the expenses by paying out 450 thousand euros in addition to the 650 thousand paid by Udinese.
