UnaHotels Reggio Emilia, coach Priftis: “Brindisi wants to win as much as we do, it will be a battle”

PalaBigi is ready to welcome UNAHOTELS Reggio Emilia back for tomorrow’s match against Happy Casa Brindisi at 6pm.

This is how coach Dimitris Priftis presented the challenge on the eve: “It’s a match that both teams have to win, this already makes it very interesting. Brindisi has a new face after the changes to the roster that it has made in recent months, especially in the external department which are the true fulcrum of Happy Casa’s game. Their current value does not reflect the last place in the table and therefore we must expect a real battle. For our part, we return to the PalaBigi and we want to play a match along the lines of those we have played at home all season: with energy, attitude, grit and determination right from the start, taking advantage of the warmth and drive of our crowd. It will be important to have mental toughness and solidity to achieve a victory that we want at all costs. It will be nice to welcome coach Sakota back to Reggio, who I have known for years and who I have faced many times in Greece. Certainly with what he did last year here at Pallacanestro Reggiana he earned a place in the history of this Club.”

The match, which will be broadcast on both DMAX and DAZN, will be directed by the referee team made up of Tolga Sahin from Messina, Denis Quarta from Turin and Alessandro Nicolini from Bagheria (PA).
