In the first 75 qualifying targets fired yesterday, the Friulian, Olympic champion of Beijing 2008 and vice-champion in Rio five years ago, made 8 mistakes, all on the same platform, closing with the partial of 67/75 and compromising, in fact, the access in the top six.
The last 50 qualifying targets are fired today, starting from the early hours of dawn (starting at 2 am Italian time). Yesterday the disappointment was very strong for the Friulian, who was unable to give herself an explanation. The 43-year-old from Cavalicco arrived prepared, both technically and psychologically, thanks to the European Championship won at the end of May. She had managed to settle well on the shooting range, so much so that she gave up shooting even some training series because she already felt confident enough. But yesterday, something went wrong.
