Union Feltre, last cartridges: Teso is taken and Bedin returns

The club strengthens the defense and the median with two elements of great experience. Both come from Lornano Badesse, tomorrow they could already play in Mestre

It’s the latest attempt to revive the group, add that missing personality in the locker room, and attempt to reach desperate salvation. Union Feltre chose defender Dario Teso and midfielder Matteo Bedin to further strengthen the staff available to coach Andrea Zanuttig. Both come from the Tuscan club of Lornano Badesse and will be able to help out tomorrow, in the very difficult but fundamental trip to Mestre against the third team in the standings. Instead full-back Filippo Stevanin, who between injuries and revisable performances has never convinced, despite the curriculum made only of professionalism with the jerseys of Bassano and Vicenza. Among other things, the young Toniolo now plays permanently in the role of tall winger, with Molinaro’s alternative. On Tuesday Malagò had already left, due to the well-known request not to call for the match against Montebelluna.

WELCOME BACK, BEDO

The adventure in Feltre of the Paduan Matteo Bedin, a gritty midfielder born in 1989 and in Verdegranata in the 2016-2017 season, did not end in the best way. He was the protagonist of the splendid first part of the championship; then, following some discussion with the coach Bianchini, he was relegated to the bench. He came from so much D and Excellence with Este, Pozzonovo, Marano, Thermal Abano, San Paolo Padua, Padua, Triestina, Mestre and Matelica. After the Union, there were instead Ponsacco, Francavilla, Luparense, Fidelis Andria and indeed Badesse. The fans liked him a lot, as he was a bit of the unpredictable player, one of those who never gave up and with a strong personality. Characteristics obviously missing this year, as the penultimate place in the standings eloquently demonstrates.

It could be as early as December, and maybe it would have been handy. The central Dario Teso wears the Feltre jersey for the last two months of the championship. Veneziano di Eraclea, born in 1985, has a curriculum of absolute respect almost entirely developed in professionalism. Jesolo, Venice, Bassano, Itala San Marco, Darfo Boario, Tritium, Carrarese up to the four and a half seasons at the Renate, a Brianza-based formation that has now become a regular frequenter of the third national series. In January 2020 he moved to Giana Erminio, then in the summer he returned to Renate from which he released a few months ago. The Badesse wanted him, but now he has left him free to marry in Feltre. He will certainly give a hand to raise the level of attention and solidity in the three-man defense, no one knows how much of the Trevisan over-range. An alternative was needed either to Giacomazzi or to Nonni, without having to adapt someone to the good. For example, he was missing this last Wednesday and Stevanin replaced him, who did everything wrong. And the Union can no longer afford false steps if it wants to keep the hope of salvation alive until the last three days, when it will face as many direct clashes. –
