Diesse Tormen: “I feel bad for Union Feltre, I have no problems in assuming my faults but many of the changes in the squad have been made by listening to the needs of the various coaches”

Over thirty players employed, three coaches, rare moments of satisfaction and numerous debacles.
The last one on Wednesday, which could be decisive in the moment of issuing the relegation verdict. Montebelluna was well within reach, and for over forty minutes there was almost a single team on the pitch. Fantinato’s 1-0 was very close, then yet another dark, yet another comeback, yet another defeat.
The merciless numbers say that the penultimate place occupied by Union Feltre is final. Eighth defeat in the last nine days, with the only parenthesis of the mocking par against the Este, 18 total knockouts in the face of only six wins, 53 goals conceded. Above all, just 23 points in the standings, without even the grip of any recovery.
Sports director Antonio Tormen, formerly defended by president Nicola Giusti and by sponsor Dario Cremonese for transfer market operations, is also on the dock.
“We have always done them in three, after talking to the coaches,” they said.
And how does Tormen live this situation?
“Bad, I’m really sorry. I’ve always been in football since I was young, I’ve never experienced something like this, even if a bad year in sport happens. In August we had a strong and logical team in hand. Then the technical driving changes have led to various upheavals and a certain confusion becomes inevitable ».
Do you feel one of the leaders of the Union Feltre season?
“Of course, I have no problem taking my blame. Because almost none of the confirmed last year managed to perform as expected, for example. We started again from Corasaniti, Trevisan, Nonni, Stevanin, Miniati and De Carli, adding Giacomazzi who was with us until a year earlier. Unfortunately, perhaps De Carli alone did not lower the performance. Why? If we knew, we would have solved the problems first. Among the new ones, however, some have proved their worth, many others have not and still others have never been abandoned by physical problems. And after all, a sports director is the one who chooses, sharing names, roles and characteristics with the figures in charge ».
Too many changes between December and January?
«Here I would like to make a clarification. Because each coach brings his own ideas. We have met certain needs, perhaps too much, but at the beginning it is normal to want to give credit to those who coach the team. Sometimes we didn’t have to be influenced, and I am referring above all to certain outgoing operations for which I was against. During the Christmas break, for example, Michelotto was sent away, now the absolute protagonist at Fiorenzuola fighting to win the championship. Or Vignali or Busetto a month later ».
Maybe at the end of the season the club will not confirm it when planning the next season.
«What I will do from July onwards is of no interest to me. Because first of all we have a salvation to be obtained and still feasible, I would like to mention. 27 points are missing and no one knows how many teams will be relegated. I also live football as a passion, I don’t have to work at my age. The personal future is the last thought in this moment ».
