Evening of verdicts in Promotion: the last round of the elimination rounds of the Italian Cup was played. Viscontea Pavese, Union Calcio Basso Pavese, Robbio and Alagna qualify as they have won their own groups. In group 28 ahead of Union Basso Pavese who beat Landriano with a clear 5-0 in the last game and thus mocked Vistarino at the finish line, qualifying, with the same points, thanks to the best goal difference gained precisely by virtue of the result off of this last challenge. Adventurous qualification instead for Viscontea Pavese in group 29: all three teams in the group – in addition to Pavia also Virtus Binasco and Assago – concluded the group with two points and with the same goal difference: Viscontea and Binasco also had the same number of goals scored, but the Pavia players are promoted for the highest number of goals scored away. Robbio also passed the turn, for which the 2-2 draw in Vigevano was enough and Alagna who won both their games, the last Wednesday evening in Garlasco with a score of 2-1.
The advances of two third category groups were also played for the Lombardy Cup. In group 36, Belgioioso beat Folgore 2-0 and won the group, qualifying for the next round, while in 37 the decisive challenge at the top between Pro Ferrera and Hellas Torrazza was won 3-2 by the Oltrepadani who, thanks to this external success, they finished the group in first place and therefore qualified.
