This afternoon at 3 pm at the Oasis of Fuori Milano in Ferrera Erbognone the final stages of the National Union of Veterans of Sport over 60 men’s tennis will be played.
“Four teams will participate in the final phase of the event – explains the national councilor of the Union of Veterans of Sport Ilario Lazzari -. Among these, our Pavese from Gino Grevi which is certainly competitive with the participation of Nando Cavalleri, Roberto Dono, Giorgio Fracchia, Pietro Massarelli (Enzo Zanellini and Paolo Nicola reserves) ».
In the semifinals this afternoon, Gino Grevi Pavia will face Bortolozzi Treviso, while in the other meeting Bacchilega Tragioni of Massa Carrara will face Giagnoni Pisa. Tomorrow morning the finals: the two winners of today’s challenges will meet at 9 for the national title, while the losers for the consolation final for 3rd place. The formula includes two singulars and a double. Gino Grevi Pavia presents itself with one of the most competitive teams to have its say in this national competition.
Among the strengths is Nando Cavalleri, fresh winner of the Italian over 60 team title of Federtennis with the Tennis Club Pavia. –
