The Irish rugby players won the Six Nations Tournament on Saturday for the second year in a row. On the fifth and final match day they won 17-13 against Scotland in Dublin.

Last year the Irish achieved a Grand Slam, but they were unable to do so this year. On the fourth match day they narrowly lost 23-22 in England.

Italy beat Wales 21-24 in Cardiff on Saturday. Earlier, Italy drew 13-13 in France and won 31-29 against Scotland. It ended with eleven points, which is the best result in the history of the country, which has always finished in last place for the past eight years. This time the little coveted ‘wooden spoon’ went to Wales, who lost their five games.

Ireland finished with 20 points. France (11 pts) and England (12) will battle for second place on Saturday evening in Lyon. Scotland is currently third with 12 points.
