In the four games of the final series, Elachem has nevertheless shown that they can match their opponents, even if they are better equipped for the final victory. «In race 1 – explains Peroni – we entered on tiptoe to understand if Cividale was really a squadron. They individually are stronger than us, but on a team level we have shown that we know how to shake the thickest walls. We can accomplish feats while staying focused throughout the game. We have surprised our opponents several times for our coldness and in a match that is close to the siren this is an advantage ».

The other advantage of Vigevano is tactical and consists in the ability to harness opponents. «We don’t rely on the attack – Peroni points out – but on limiting the opponent’s attacks. When we rely on defense we are already at a good point, then the attack arrives accordingly ». Peroni had to take over one of the most active players from the offensive point of view which is Chiera, who is undoubtedly one of the most experienced of the Gesteco, having a remarkable career behind him even in higher categories. «Usually – says Peroni – I suffer from low and fast players. For example, with Rota I struggle, while with Chiera we pair well, because we are complementary players and we play in the same way with few penetrations and few three-point shots ». –
