In general, we need to improve in all respects », Tomasoni underlines. In the second match, with a Serie D team like Derthona, the animosity on the pitch took over the technical content, due to some rough intervention, which generated a climate of tension on the pitch; the referee, in an attempt to restore calm, drew two red cards, one on each side, with De Toni expelled in the ranks of Voghe and Manasiev among the Tortonesi. «Let’s say that the match against Derthona was a real one – explains Tomasoni – with some intervention that was too decisive. De Toni only left his door, but he didn’t do anything serious. For the tension that was breathed, the referee did well to close 0-0, avoiding penalties ». La Voghe will return to the field on Thursday (5.30 pm) at Grassi di Pontecurone with Binasco.
Zichella satisfied
In a period in which, with the preparation in full swing, it is not possible to expect brilliant teams, even more so in the triangles in which after a time the opponent and all of the owners in their formation change, it is difficult to draw precise indications. However, there is “satisfaction for the work done and confidence in the qualities expressed by the team” on the part of the technical staff of Derthona led by coach Giovanni Zichella, after the Gavi tournament. In both mini-challenges, Zichella set with 4-3-3, rotating all the elements available, except Colantonio and Imperato, tired. The two goals of the 2-2 with Gaviese (Promzione) were scored by Spoto, with similar personal ideas, born by aiming at the man and then with a precise conclusion. After half an hour, two goals conceded by chance, the first on a corner, the second on a penalty for a foul by Mutti. In the first mini-match: Teti in goal, behind Petrucci, Todisco, Brollo and Sill, Grieco play with Mutti and Carnevali on the sides, Spoto center forward with Gueye and Casagrande.
