Andrea Cavaliere is also among the students of the C license training course, which began yesterday. The 25-year-old player from Vogherese, son of the patron Oreste, decided to undress and leave the football played to embark on a new career as a coach. A decision matured in recent months: “I thought carefully and took this path – he explains – Lately, I no longer felt 100% physically and I was unable to give the team what I wanted, then I also had a personal problem that affected about my choice. The idea of being a coach has always intrigued me, so I talked about it with my father, with the sports director Riceputi and with my teammates, to whom I communicated my will. I have already started coaching the young provincials of Voghe and I thank mister Giacomotti, who welcomed me into his staff as a collaborator, immediately making me responsible ». Cavaliere works closely with Giacomotti on the pitch and is mainly involved in studying Voghe’s opponents: «I watch the last match of the rivals 3-4 times, then I pass on the report to the coach and the team. Even in my daily work, the coach involves me in the preparation and conduct of the sessions ».

The relationship with his teammates has not changed: «Voghe’s secret is that we are all united. The group understood that this was the best decision for me. The only difference compared to before is that on the pitch they call me coach, I also thank the fans who have always supported me ». As for the football played, there is one aspect that Cavaliere jr lacks: “The collective embrace after the goals, while we are on the bench we are further away”. His aspiration is to reach high levels as a coach: «The fact that you start studying as a coach early can be an advantage. I look forward to this first course with the utmost enthusiasm and I do not deny that my dream is to arrive in prestigious categories, after I have reached Serie C as a player ». –
