Simone Pittaluga has brilliantly passed the Varzi exam. I have always worked hard in training, to be ready, but it is clear that the real game has other dynamics. Thinking about my performance, maybe I even went beyond expectations, too bad for the negative result. I think the draw was more fair ».

The feat on Scarcella

In the Chiappano match, Pittaluga was the protagonist of several important interventions: «The most difficult save was the one against Grasso in the first half, because the shot was deflected by a defender and the ball bounced in front of me. The most beautiful on Scarcella’s header ». The young Rossoneri goalkeeper was encouraged by De Toni, a model for Pittaluga: «De Toni is out of class, I try to steal as much from him as possible every day, starting with his work culture.
