The 29-year-old midfielder is the flagship of the season “I played in D, it would be nice to win her back on the pitch”

VOGHERA

Daniele Tettamanti is at ease in the role of designated leader of the Vogherese. The 29-year-old midfielder, the most important acquisition in the Rossoneri market, is not afraid of the expectations that accompany him in his arrival in via Facchinetti.

No fear

«I am not afraid to have this responsibility, I am ready to bring my experience. I was well received, the atmosphere is exceptional and the group is made up of young people who listen ». His 29 years and the long series in Serie D, with a season in C2, elevate him to the most experienced player of Voghe. From Tettamanti, the company therefore expects a technical performance appropriate to the curriculum, and a strong dose of personality. A wait that turns into fuel for the new Rossoneri midfielder: «I also had other offers, but I chose Voghera for the importance of this square and for the esteem that president Cavaliere showed me. I came to play several times as an opponent, and Voghera has always made an excellent impression on me. Unfortunately we will not be able to have our fans present at the stadium, but we will do everything to make them satisfied ».

Originally from Verbania, Tettamanti spent his career entirely in Piedmont, with the shirts of Borgomanero, Borgosesia, Chieri and Bra, between D and C2, up to the last two experiences with Biellese and Verbania in Excellence. «I went down to Excellence in the last two seasons for personal reasons, but now I’d like to win back the D, and it would be nice to do it here in Voghera. More than personal goals, however, I am interested in team goals », adds Tettamanti. On the pitch, his range of action extends to all roles in the midfield, with an accentuated vocation for the attacking phase, as evidenced by his 52 career goals: “I can play all roles in midfield, the mezzala or the play in front of the defense, but as characteristics I prefer to insert myself in the goal zone. We will speak with the coach for the best position, I will make myself available ». Tettamanti will compete for the first time with the Lombard Excellence, in a short and anomalous tournament, in terms of format and duration: «I don’t know the group, but they tell me it will be very difficult, with so many teams that are strengthening. It will be a very tough championship, but at the same time stimulating, and we will try to do our best. Will I stop here again next year? Now let’s think about getting to know each other better, and doing well in recent months, then we will talk to the club ». The condition is improving after the long stop due to the pandemic: «I have always trained alone, but it is clear that group training is something else entirely. I am regaining confidence with the field and with the distances, I hope to be 100% for the first of the championship on April 11 with Alcione ».

In the meantime, the Rossoneri are continuing their preparation for the mini-championship. Yesterday Voghe rested, after the efforts of the first days of the week, with intense workloads, comparable to the summer phase of the preseason. The team will return to training this afternoon at the Parisi stadium, to then repeat with two more sessions, tomorrow afternoon and Saturday morning, before the break to coincide with the Easter holidays. The resumption of work will take place on Tuesday in the afternoon, with the group moving to the “Grassi” field in Pontecurone, the training center of the team coached by Mr. Martignoni. In the coming days, the company could announce other market news, to flesh out the squad in view of the mini-tournament of Excellence. –
