“Volley Experience” is born to retain promises

TREVISO

The curtain rises on “Volley Experience”, the ambitious project of Fipav Treviso Belluno which aims to concretely support, with interventions side by side, the local companies in improving the experience of their interlocutors, starting with athletes.

The recent victories of the European Championships by the Italian national teams have been a breath of fresh air for Italian volleyball after a period that, primarily due to the pandemic, has seen a significant drop in the number of members. However, the victories of top volleyball alone are not enough to drive a whole movement that needs not only to recruit, but above all, according to Fipav Tre.Uno, to retain its interlocutors and avoid abandonment. To do this, the Committee will provide clubs with tools to refine and improve their way of dealing with all members, from athletes to coaches to managers, so that the volleyball experience becomes simple and satisfying. The initiative is mainly aimed at women’s U14 teams, a strategic category to reduce the dropout rate, also through this project.

The Council chaired by Michele De Conti has set itself the goal of starting the “VX” (Volley Experience) project and carrying it out for a total of three seasons, focusing in the first year on the experience lived by the athletes, to continue, in the subsequent years, on the coaches and then on the managers. It is the first Committee in Italy to tackle a path of this type: after having anticipated it in the 2021/24 programmatic report, Fipav Tre.Uno is now ready to take action, with two different work teams structured ad hoc that will confront each other. with the companies that want to participate. The representatives of the two teams will be two well-known faces of regional and national volleyball: Gigi Schiavon and Luciano Sturam, flanked by other support figures including the mental coach Enzo Di Vera, a figure who has also collaborated in the past with the national volleyball teams. .

Thanks to interviews with presidents, athletes, coaches and visits during training and competitions, the two teams will have an overview of the situation that will allow them to tailor a report to the participating clubs, providing feedback on improving what has been seen. –
