Starting from this last notation, the iLMeteo.it team writes that on Friday the entry of some drafts of fresher air coming from the Atlantic “will once again raise the risk of thunderstorms in the Alpine and Pre-Alpine regions”, in particular “in the hottest hours of the afternoon”. Because of great heat and of high humidity rates, the forces at play will give birth to showers at times violent and unpredictable, which will push from the reliefs up to the adjacent plains, especially in Piedmont and Lombardy. In any case, the meteorologists specify, the precipitations should end almost completely by evening.
On the rest of Italy the African high pressure will dominate the scene without problems, distributing generous sunny spaces and constantly rising temperatures. The thermometers will be particularly hot in the South, with values often close to 40 degrees, if not even higher in inland areas of Sicily.
