the forecast of tomorrow, Saturday 6 November, announce a weekend start characterized by the umpteenth wave of rains borne by the central-northern sectors of our country. Experts point the finger at a Mediterranean vortex positioned between the Sardinia and the Balearic Islands, which will leave some traces even on Sunday.
Going into the merits, the iLMeteo.it team warns that on Saturday the weather will be “highly unstable over a large slice of Italy”. Showers and thunderstorms even very intense ones will hit a little all the regions of Central South, but to suffer the worse consequences it could be Sardinia, where there is a real risk of “real storms accompanied by stormy gusts of wind along the most exposed coasts”, reads the website. A separate discussion for Sicily and the southern sectors of Calabria, which will enjoy a drier context, also benefiting from an upward flow of hot air from North Africa, a harbinger of rather mild temperatures and out of season.
Except for some passenger disturbances in Emilia-Romagna, the meteorological picture will be instead quiet and sunny North. It should be noted that, unlike what will happen in the far south, the temperatures here will suffer a significant decline especially early in the morning and late in the evening, with lows close to zero on the western areas of the Po Valley.
In the second half of the weekend some uncertainty will persist, albeit within a general improvement weather conditions. According to 3BMeteo Sunday 7 November the displacement of the cyclonic vortex will bring “clouds over the southern Po Valley and some rain arriving in Emilia and Liguria”, as well as scattered rainfall on “Tuscany, upper Lazio and Sardinia, even storms on the peninsular coasts”.
