Following tradition, defending champion Novak Djokovic opened this year’s Wimbledon tournament on center court with a 6-3-6-3-7-6 win over Argentinian Pedro Cachin (ATP 68). The 36-year-old Serb has been unbeaten on the pitch of the All England Lawn Tennis Club since 2017. At that time he had to give up injured in the quarterfinals against the Czech Tomas Berdych.
