From February 3 to February 17, the Wukesong Sports Center will host 23 women’s ice hockey games and 6 men’s ice hockey games. Guan Sina told reporters that, according to the regulations, after the daily ice hockey games in Wukesong Sports Center, there will only be interviews in the mixed area, but there will be mixed interviews and press conferences after the third- and fourth-place women’s ice hockey games and finals. This requires the venue staff to quickly turn the post-match news mixed area into a press conference room within 15 minutes after the mixed interview ends and the last athlete leaves the field. “In order to complete the conversion from the mixed area to the press conference hall within the specified time, everyone practiced repeatedly. Now, 80 chairs can be quickly placed in less than 5 minutes.” Guan Sina said.
This year’s Winter Olympics coincides with the Spring Festival. In order to let the media reporters feel the strong taste of the New Year, the venue staff have carefully arranged the working area of the reporters. “The word ‘Fu’ on the seat partition, the Chinese New Year cartoon decorations on the wall, and the Year of the Tiger ornaments on the reception table reveal the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
