After being signed by Wolves, Zheng Xiangbin was immediately loaned to the Swiss Grasshoppers. Zheng Xiangbin was born on April 1, 2002 and is 1.73 meters tall. In the last season, Zheng Xiangbin was promoted to the first team of Suwon Samsung, and he scored 6 goals in 28 league games. On June 9 last year, Zheng Xiangbin made his only appearance for the South Korean team so far. In the preliminaries, South Korea beat Sri Lanka 5-0 at home, and Zheng Xiangbin scored the team’s fifth goal.
After the loan of Zheng Xiangbin, the Grasshoppers currently have 4 players from East Asia. The 26-year-old Japanese midfielder Jun Kawabe joined the Grasshoppers in the summer of 2021. The second East Asian player to join the Grasshoppers is Chinese international Li Lei. On December 20 last year, Li Lei officially joined Grasshopper.
