In the men’s doubles, the Chinese team Lin Gaoyuan/Liang Jingkun lost to Sweden 0-3 and missed the final.
In this game, Lin Gaoyuan/Liang Jingkun faced the Swedish combination Karlsson/Falk, who defeated another Chinese pair Fan Zhendong/Wang Chuqin in the quarter-finals. In the semi-finals, the Swedish team played well and won the game in three straight games. The scores of the three games were 12:10, 11:8, and 11:8. The Sino-US transnational team Lin Gaoyuan/Zhang An fought hard in five games, losing 2-3 to the Japanese team Zhang Bentomo/Hina Hayada.
