Brise Audio Unveils Groundbreaking Ultra Hi-End Portable System US-001

Brise Audio, a brand known for its strong spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, has announced the launch of an unprecedented hi-end headphone, temporarily called “Ultra Hi-End Portable System US-001”. Breaking away from the traditional in-ear headphone design, the US-001 features an external crossover and active driver, marking a significant leap in audio technology.

The new project is set to be completed this spring, with a trial listening session available at an upcoming exhibition. Attendees will also have the opportunity to place pre-orders, although the price has not yet been determined.

Traditionally, in-ear headphones have been limited by the size of the micro crossovers installed on the inlet surface. In a groundbreaking move, Brise Audio has separated the US-001 crossover to overcome this limitation. The US-001 is set to be an 8-unit, 5-way crossover headset, featuring a system that separates the sound-producing part from other elements, integrating a large 5-way crossover network along with 12 sets of amplifiers, volume controls, input and output terminals, and more into a portable circuit board.

The earphones themselves will feature 2 8mm LCP diaphragm dynamic units for bass, 1 Sonion brake unit and 2 Knowles brake units for midrange, and 2 Knowles brake units for treble. A new MEMS unit will also be included for super treble. Additionally, the earphones will be connected with a special 7-pin plug, supporting line replacement with a tentatively planned 16-core copper earphone line.

“This new Ultra Hi-End Portable System US-001 represents a significant advancement in audio technology,” said a spokesperson for Brise Audio. “We have been working tirelessly to push the boundaries of what is possible in in-ear headphone design, and we are extremely excited to offer listeners a truly unique and high-quality audio experience.”
