Deliver Us Mars developer hit by latest layoffs

The gaming industry continues to see a wave of mass layoffs, with KeokeN Interactive being the latest casualty. Known for their Deliver Us series, the studio was forced to let go of four developers, amounting to around 25% of their team. This decision came after managing director Paul and chief executive Koen Deetmen took pay cuts to try and save the company.

In a statement, Koen Deetmen expressed his sadness over the layoffs, emphasizing the difficult decisions that had to be made in order to keep the company afloat. As leaders, they understood the responsibility of protecting their team for as long as possible, but tough times ultimately led to these layoffs.

With this significant loss of talent, the future of KeokeN Interactive’s development pipeline is now uncertain. It remains to be seen how the studio will navigate through these challenging times and whether they will be able to bounce back from this setback.
