Microsoft Edge users have been facing a frustrating “Insufficient memory to load webpage” error recently, prompting Microsoft to release a fix update. The issue, which was reported by numerous users on the official Microsoft forum, occurs randomly and can happen multiple times a day. One user shared their experience of encountering the error while having multiple tabs open and even when playing games on another monitor.

Another user found a temporary solution by logging out of their account and creating a new one, highlighting the severity of the problem. Upon investigating the issue, Microsoft confirmed that Microsoft Edge version 122 does have a bug that causes Windows to run out of memory.

Microsoft has acknowledged the problem and is working on a fix update for version 122. Users are advised to check if they have updated to the latest version by visiting edge://settings/help. Some users have already received the update (version 122.0.2365.66) which includes the fix for the memory error and the previous bug of requiring multiple clicks to open files after downloading.

The update is expected to automatically roll out to users, but it can also be triggered manually by going to the “Help and Feedback” section in the Edge menu and selecting “About Microsoft Edge.” Once updated, users can restart Microsoft Edge to ensure that the changes take effect.

In conclusion, Microsoft has identified the issue with the memory error on Microsoft Edge and has taken steps to address it with a fix update. Users are encouraged to update their browsers to the latest version to avoid encountering the error and other related bugs.
