Pentiment is coming to PlayStation and Switch tomorrow

During the recent Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase, a new game called Pentiment was announced for the Nintendo Switch. The game, from Obsidian, is a story-driven point-and-click adventure that tells the tale of an artist named Andreas Maler who becomes involved in a series of murders in a peaceful village in the Holy Roman Empire.

Unlike the game Grounded, which was revealed with a proper trailer, Pentiment was briefly flashed during the showcase, showcasing some gameplay and announcing that it would be available on the Switch starting tomorrow, February 22. However, it was quickly confirmed by Sony that the game will also be coming to the PS4 and PS5.

Pentiment is a game that focuses on decision-making and has the rare feature of making player choices matter. As players navigate the village and its dark turn of events, they must make decisions that will impact the outcome of the story and the resolution of the murders.

Fans of adventure games and those who enjoy games with strong narratives can look forward to the release of Pentiment on the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5. With its unique storytelling and decision-driven gameplay, it is sure to be a game that draws in players and keeps them engaged until the very end.
