Samsung sent its Galaxy S24 into the stratosphere to take photos of the Earth

The Galaxy S24 Ultra, Samsung’s best performing (but also most expensive) smartphone, was attached to a hot air balloon that was sent into the Earth’s stratosphere last January. The smartphone, controlled by a team 50km below, captured over 150 images of Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
