Jiangli to Launch Dream-Themed Simulation Game “Chest” on PC Steam

Independent game developer Jiangli has announced the upcoming launch of a new simulation game titled “Chest” on PC Steam. Co-developed by Jiangli and GooodMon, and published by GooodMon, the game will support multiple languages including Traditional Chinese.

“‘Not dreaming’ may not be very important to modern people, because excessive indulgence in dreams may affect real life, but wouldn’t it be pitiful to lose the ability to dream?” said Jiangli. “‘Chest’ is a dream-themed 3D walking simulation game played from a first-person perspective. Players will find themselves in a treatment facility called ‘Chest’, surrounded by white tiles, with the goal of curing strange diseases that prevent dreaming.”

According to screenshots and descriptions from the store, players can expect to encounter two types of pills, red and blue, in the game. After taking these pills, players will enter a dream state where they can explore the mysterious space within “Chest”. This includes enjoying the afternoon sun, visiting a swimming pool, and encountering a mysterious woman and unidentified objects, such as what appears to be a UFO. There are also hints that someone may be monitoring the protagonist’s dreams.

If you’re intrigued by the idea of exploring this unique dream world, be sure to check out “Chest” when it launches.
