Disney has released the Trailer for Poor Creatures!the new sci-fi film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and produced by Emma Stonewho also plays the protagonist Bella Baxter. They are also in the cast Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe, Ramy Youssef e Jerrod Carmichael. The film will be released in Italian theaters on October 12, 2023distributed by The Walt Disney Company Italia.

The film tells the extraordinary story and amazing transformation of Bella Baxter (Stone)a young woman who is brought back to life by the genius and maverick scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe).

Protected by Baxter, Bella is curious to learn. Thirsty for the worldly life, Bella runs away with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a skilled and libertine lawyer, in an exciting adventure that takes her around the world. Free from the conventions of her time, Bella is increasingly determined in her goal of championing equality and empowerment.

The film is based on the novel by Alasdair Grayadapted for the screen by Tony McNamarawho thus signs his second collaboration with Lanthimos after La favorita.They produce the film Ed Guiney, Andrew Lowe, Yorgos Lanthimos and Emma Stone.
