a 17% and 16% increase in sequential read and write speeds, respectively; a 15% and 13% improvement in random read and write speeds, respectively, compared to the previous generation; faster I/O speeds and reduced read/write latencies, compared to the previous TLC generation, to improve the user experience during intensive operations such as loading, copying and booting; Western Digital’s internal controller and firmware for a fully optimized solution that enables faster time to market and quality control; an improvement in device energy efficiency during active use by up to 20% compared to the previous generation thanks to improved power management for a solution optimized for mobile devices; Dedicated boot partition, with options for TCG OPAL 2.02 and ATA security with RSA-3K and SHA-384 for added protection.
