At least 22 young people between the ages of 18 and 20 have died in a nightclub located in a slum in the coastal city of East London, South Africa. As reported by the police chief of the province, investigations are still ongoing to understand the causes of the deaths of the young people, who were found on the floor of the club and show no signs of injury or violence.

Kinana also added to local media that most of the victims are 18-20 year olds. While eyewitnesses collected from the Daily Dispatch they said the bodies lay on the ground as if they had suddenly fainted.
